In Williams, AZ (Northern Arizona) from November to the first week of January, there is a Christmas event for families. The Grand Canyon Railway has recreated the movie "The Polar Express". The train picks people up at the Depot and takes them to the "North Pole" to see Santa. On the way, you are served hot chocolate and cookies, while the story of the Polar Express is being read to you. When the story is finished, everyone sings Christmas carols, while Santa boards the train and gives each child a bell. Then the train heads back to the Depot. The children love it and it is a great time for the whole family.
