Red Rock Canyon National Conservation area is located 17 miles and a world apart from its more famous neighbor, the Las Vegas Strip. The land is managed by the BLM and has many uses, such as rock climbing, hiking and wildlife viewing. Here you could be treated to herds of wild horses, burros and big horn sheep. There is a 13 mile scenic drive, with many places to take in the breathtaking landscape.
