Octopus is a quintessential tropical resort on Waya Island, in Fiji's remote Yasawa Islands. It sits on a long white beach, with private bures and hammocks at respectable intervals. The reef offers a selection of marine life, including big cone shells and the occasional turtle, and can be snorkeled even at low tide. There is also a dive operation and other activities on offer; but many visitors are quite content to just enjoy the pool, the fantastic communal meals and what's probably the best bar in the Yasawa Islands.
