Place to see: Greenwich Village, New York, New York City, New York, United States

About this place:

Filled with Cafe's and the ghosts of Kerouac, Ginsberg, and Dylan, Greenwich Village hosts some of the most iconic locations and streets in all of New York City. Isolating some of these visual moments can feel like a wonderful step back in time.

Downtown, in the Village, you can get hopelessly, blissfully lost. You can weirdo-watch in Washington Square Park, stop for a falafel at Mamoun's and, veering West, take reckless turns in the skewed, angled streets of the West Village. You can get so lost that you suspect you’ve somehow skipped the Path Train and ended up in New Jersey, so lost you befriend a whole crowd of strangers to serve as your new pack, never to be seen again once you find your way. So lost you wonder why you've ever lived anywhere else.
