Cane Creek Park is a family oriented nature park with a 380 acre trophy bass lake, one of only three trophy bass lakes in North Carolina. Located near the North Carolina/ South Carolina border just south of Waxhaw, North Carolina. If you own a horse, you are welcome to ride the many trails throughout the park. Cane Creek Park’s Day Use Area offers a list of activities sure to please any outdoor enthusiast. For a $4.00 entrance fee, visitors can enjoy the following activities year round: fishing, boating, hiking, picnic areas, mountain bike and horse trails, canoe and rowboat rentals (extra charge), ball fields, and playgrounds.

Across the lake is the camp ground. Both camper trailers and tent camping are available. Call ahead to check trail conditions and for camping information, Rangers may close trails during wet weather.
