Frank Lloyd Wright's Office

Frank Lloyd Wright's Office

The main office at Taliesin West, Frank Lloyd Wright's architectural educational compound in the desert of Arizona.

About this place:

Frank Lloyd Wright's winter home and architectural school. Every year Wright and his fellowship of apprentices and students, would move between the summer home in Wisconsin, and here in the winter. The compound was perpetually under construction and all built by students as part of their curriculum. It is an incredible example of Wright's organic style that feels incredibly at home in the desert. Most of the buildings were designed to be open to nature utilizing natural light and emphasizing the outdoors as part of the space.

Now the home of of the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, there is a museum and several daily tours of the complex.
