About this place:

Taktsang Lhakhang, also known as the Tiger's Nest is one of the most important religious sites in the Himalaya. This monastery clings to a vertical granite cliff 2,000 ft above Paro valley's floor. You must hike up to get there and you most likely will be sharing the path with devout pilgrims coming to worship. Prayer flags flutter in the wind and there is a waterfall and hermit's house near the main temple. The monastery has suffered several fires over the years, but has been faithfully restored.
