Potters' Square in Bhaktapur, Nepal is filled with pots, incense-burners, oil lamps and artisans trying to sell you all of the above. This old woman was the exception, content as she was to bask in the evening sun next to her merchandise.
Filled with palaces and ornately-carved pagodas, this ancient city is a popular day-trip from Kathmandu. You can explore the narrow cobblestone alleys, marvel at the stately architecture in Old Town or shop for weaving and pottery -- the city's specialties.
