Bauhaus Archiv - Berlin

The Bauhaus Archiv museum was undergoing some much-needed renovations when I visited in November 2007, but it was like a visit to heaven for a Mod like me...

About this place:

The Bauhaus Archiv or Bauhaus Archive / Museum of Design in Berlin is certainly the world's premiere institute conserving work from the historic school of the Bauhaus (1919-1933), the most important school of architecture, design, and art of the 20th century.
The meticulous collection and its devotees are housed in an exquisite example of a Bauhaus building by Walter Gropius, the founder of the school.

This is a MUST SEE on the list of modern art museums of the world.
