Ojai is a popular tourist town in the Ventura County. Ojai is situated in the Ojai Valley. The valley was home to the Chumash Indians. Ojai became a city in 1874. The original name was Nordhoff.
Ojai has a rich cultural life. It is home to many artist. There are many festivals throughout the year. And ending the season with the Ojai Days.
Ojai is a spa town with wonderful opportunities to relax in spas and parks or to enjoy nature in the Los Padres National Forest or Lake Casitas Recreational Area.
