Supervisor and worker, two stories above the old narrow streets of Kotor, Montenegro.
The old town of Kotor, Montenegro, sits in the most secluded corner of the Gulf of Kotor, considered by some to be the southernmost fjord in Europe. Settled during Roman times and fortified in the Middle Ages, its coveted protected location has been conquered many times in its history, most notably by the Venetians between 1420 and 1797. Kotor has recently experienced the increased invasion of tourists since Montenegro received independence in 2006 from Serbia.
