Place to see: Dinosaur World, Plant City, Florida, United States

Dino Rider

Dino Rider

Tucked neatly away along the I-4 corridor between Tampa and Orlando, this road side attraction is as much a relic itself as the "Dinosaurs" it hosts. Once inside you find yourself immersed in the pine and palm forests of Florida complete with enough thick humid air to make the giant plastic beasts actually glisten with sweat.

About this place:

Dinosaur World can be seen on the bore of a drive from Orlando to Tampa at the midway point. Just off I-4 peeking thru the oaks and palm frawns the Fiberglass and faded Dinosaurs show teeth and muster up all the ferociousness they can to draw you off the interstate for a gander at the past. The park boasts 150 life size Dinosaurs for viewing, a fossil dig play-park, and a gift shop. If you have the time for a stroll and a laugh this is worth it.
