Obelisk aligned!
I was quite surprised that I saw the Obelisk is aligned with the 3 minarets of the blue mosque.
About this place:
The oldest monument in Istanbul, was carved in Egypt between 1549-1503 BC and erected in the Amon-Re temple at Karnak. The Byzantine emperor, Theodosius, had it brought (stole) from Egypt to Constantinople in AD 390.
Located in the Hippodrome.
