About this place:

Located inside the White Sands Missile Range, the Trinity site is ground zero for the first atomic bomb test on July 16, 1945. Tours are available twice a year, on the first Saturday in April and October. Not as radioactive as you might think, a visit is less exposure than flying coast to coast on a plane.
