ghost town/dinosaur fossil based state park in the middle of nevada. really, it's the middle of nowhere, and you have to take a dirt road to get here.
Berlin is right smack in the middle of Nevada and is an odd combination of state park, ghost town, and some of the largest ichthyosaur fossils ever found. it's pretty remote, you will need to go over some dirt roads to get there, and if it's nearing winter, call ahead to make sure the roads are open. You can camp in the park, and i can only imagine that the stargazing would be amazing, since there's very little nearby.
They used to give tours of the Diana Mine, but the site for the park says the tours are cancelled until further notice.
