About this place:

Morey's Piers is a family owned amusement and waterpark complex located right on the beach in Wildwood, New Jersey. They have three huge amusement piers and two sparkling waterparks. The park was started in 1968, with the installation of the Giant Slide on Morey's Surfside Pier, by Will and Bill Morey. Since then, Morey's Piers has grown to over 70 rides and attractions, plus two Beachfront Waterparks located at the end of the Morey's Surfside and Morey's Mariner's Landing Piers. Both Raging Waters and Ocean Oasis Waterparks opened in the mid 1980's and today include over 50 water oriented rides, slides, and attractions, plus a Beach Grill to satisfy those hearty appetites. It's no wonder this place has been a family attraction since it's inception in 1968.

As a kid my family and I would head to the shore in the summer. What great memories they were. As I grew older those great memories began to fade. I thought I lost them till I found Morey's Piers. I discoverd this wonderful place last year. It was like going back in time. It's structures, the people and the smells all played a role in bringing back those nostalgic memories. I plan to go back again this summer. I hope to create new memories to add to the one's I almost lost.
