About this place:

Set on the roof of the Standard Hotel in Downtown L.A. this bar has an amazing 360 degree view of the city. The stylish bar has a pool, astroturf, usually a DJ, and ice cream bars if you get hungry. They also serve lunch in the off hours when it's less busy, and less of a scene.

    That's a fun place to stay. Last time I was in L.A. with the Wooster Group, REDCAT put us up at the Standard. The line to get up to the Rooftop Bar is crazy on the weekends, but if you're a guest, you get to skip the line and bring someone with you, so you feel very VIP, and suddenly popular. We're going back in January, and I'm crossing my fingers they put us up there again.
