After a week kicking back at a lovely, but generic timeshare on the southern coast of Kauai, and checking the helicopter, boat ride, and sunburn blocks, I had a few hours to amuse myself between check-out and take-off. Traffic would be jammed on the way to the airport near the Sheraton Ho`olaulea by the annual Koloa Plantation Days Parade, I was warned ... and it was ... the best traffic jam I ever experienced!! They'll be doing it again this July 26 - find a spot in the shade and enjoy some authentic local Hawaiana and really friendly folks.
