Sabino Canyon Evening

Sabino Canyon Evening

The trails through the park provide beautiful views of the mountains of the Coronado National Forest and the native saguaro cactus, pricily pear cactus and ocotillo.

About this place:

Sabino Canyon Recreation Area starts in the north east corner of Tucson Arizona and climbs up the mountains of the Coronado National Forest. Parking is $5/vehicle There is a tram that provides ride up the canyons. ($7.50/adults, $3/children 3–12).

Some Sabino Canyon trails are paved and some are well worn dirt paths through the cactus. A stream surges down the canyon and provides seasonal swimming holes.

I discovered this park on the http://www.visittucson.org/ when I was planning a trip to visit the University of Arizona. It is a very good resource.
