Sunday Park is a nice, quiet little spot in Midlothian, Virginia, perfect for family outings or just taking time alone. This park offers boating, fishing, playgrounds and nature trails. The dock is perfect for watching the sunset and feeding the ducks, geese and gulls. Occasionally the Great Heron will visit. The trails are nestled in a wooded peninsula with a large variety of plant life to discover. There is never a shortage of scurring squirrels and curious little birds. On July 4th the park hosts a neighborhood cookout complete with games and music. The day ends with a spectacular fireworks display.
