Water-bucket showers, fire dancing, electricity that comes and goes, and trips to a local school... Robinson Crusoe island is definitely not the typical Fiji island. Cheaper than most, and less comfortable than almost any other resort, it makes up some of the shortcomings by stepping back in time and forcing visitors to live the true "island life". The result is a trip likely outside your safe zone, but an experience you won't be able to get on the heavily resorted islands.
