TopSail State Park is a great get away from crowded beaches on the panhandle. Several miles of pure white sand and untouched dunes are perfect for beach goers. The park also has miles of nature trails for hiking. The lakes in the park a very rare and called dune lakes because they fill and eventually empty out into the gulf as salt water rushes back in. There are only few places on Earth that this occurs and it creates a unique environment. Deer and Bald Eagles can also be seen.
One entrance is of 30a but a hidden entrance is on Hwy 98 just past the hospital leaving Destin.
Enjoy!
