It features 5 waterfalls, a butterfly observatory with 20 species of butterflies, a hummingbird garden,frogs, snakes, a trout lake, and more. The Peace Lodge offers picturesque, rustic accomodations and is the perfect location for a wedding.

    La Paz Waterfall Gardens is my rainforest dream. When we visited, it was a gloriously misty day with occasional fierce rains hammering down and then disappearing as quickly as they appeared. Walking along the lush path through the dense proliferation of ferns, orchids, and other incredible flora, we passed five waterfalls, whose mighty downpour soaked us through. Luckily we bought those ponchos in a nearby town! We saw tropical butterflies and hummingbirds as well. I wish we had stayed here; it is a real gem!
