10 euro gets you a self-guided tour through the BOLS hall of senses. You test sight, smell, touch, taste, and sound as you get the full genever experience. BOLS trains bartenders from around the globe and is a leading producer of genever, which is similar to liquor. At the end of your tour, you get to choose from a variety of cocktails made by the bartending staff (included in the cost of admission; well worth the 10 euro, and with an I Amsterdam pass, you get a discount). It's right across the street from the entrance of the Van Gogh museum; BOLS was the highlight of the weekend in my favorite world city.
