When I visited Salt Lake City it seemed odd when locals keep mentioning their library. In other cities people will suggest you go see the museum, aquarium, or a shopping district, only in SLC will you hear over and over again: go to the library. From the moment I saw the building it was obvious why, only the mountains rivaled this curving structure that peaks out into the sky. I immediately made my way to the rooftop garden where I was able to get a clear view of the surrounding rockies, this is what a library was meant to be.
