While other San Francisco diners are recreations (Mel's and Lori's, for example), It's Tops is the real deal: A genuine piece of 20th-century Americana. Although the sign out front proclaims "Best Burgers," I visit It's Tops for breakfast. You can't beat their light and fluffy pancakes!
