Come here to bask - and float - in the warm, salty waters which locals believe will cure you of all your ills.
Tuz-Kul is a salt lake (the name literally means 'salt lake' in Kyrgyz) located less than a kilometer from the southern shore of Lake Issyk-Kul. Locals claim that floating in the salt lake will cure all of your ills, and while that is debatable, you'll certainly float. There is no public transport to the lake, so you'll have to arrange a driver from one of the local villages to take you. (The London School (http://www.tlsbi.com), based in Bishkek, can arrange an excursion to Tuz Kul for a reasonable fee.)
