About this place:

Blue Bottle Coffee is a micro-roaster in the Bay area that has a penchant for freshness and process. The name is taken from one of the original coffee houses started in Central Europe around the late sixteen, early seventeen hundreds. This Kiosk in the Hayes Valley neighborhood is a small strange looking location for a shop but it draws a steady crowd. About the size of a single car garage (white garage door included), the Kiosk is equipped with a La Marzocco espresso machine and a small friendly staff. Their signature espresso shots are ristretto or a rich, thick shot that is very delicious. Since there are no seating areas at this location it is not uncommon to find patrons sitting on the sidewalk across the street on a comfortable day reading, writing and drinking coffee in the shade.

yes, this is some excellent coffee! I'm bringing some with me to Ukraine as souvenirs..

also, they usually have a kiosk at the Farmers market in downtown SF (to the left of the ferry building) every Tuesday...
