About this place:

With spectacular beaches, world-class museums, fabulous restaurants, great shopping and beautiful weather--no matter when you visit, the seaside city of San Diego is filled with ways to have a great time. I decided to check out the luxurious new Ivy Hotel located in the central Gaslamp Quarter entertainment district. It’s boldly decorated and pretty swanky. Prices aren’t nearly as bad as you’d expect for this kind of classy hotel. What I really enjoyed: The Ivy has personal “butlers” on hand 24 hours a day who assist with everything from how to navigate the flat screen television to serving complimentary welcome champagne.

The Ivy Hotel is located in the San Diego's once-wild-and-rip-roarin Gaslamp Quarter, now known for its restaurants, galleries and boutiques. If you stay, prepare yourself. You'll be pampered from the time you walk in the door.
