The Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica in Ottawa is definitely one of the national architectural masterpieces that you have to see. Building's interior is very similar to Montreal's Notre-Dame Basilica and does not lack much quality in details. However, it is somewhat smaller than the Montreal counterpart.
Construction of the basilica commenced in 1841 and completed in 1885.
