A step back into time, this proprietor of this inn makes sure you enjoy your stay from a wonderful breakfast to the nicely appointed rooms. Being from Texas I was concerned about there being no air conditioning, but I found that the climate in San Francisco doesn't require air conditioning.

    A friend recommended the Mission District for my stay in San Francisco. I looked around on the internet to find something with the flavor of San Francisco... and hit paydirt. The Inn San Francisco was exactly what I was looking for. I was close to mass transit and walking distance to some wonderful sights and shopping. Take a camera when you stay here, you'll like what you see. I recommend going to the roof top and enjoying the view. I'm keeping this place on my short list on places to stay in San Francisco.
