  It was quite a surprise when driving from Del Rio to Big Bend National Park on 90north that I happened upon this river and bridge. Never heard of it, didn't know it was there, passed over it at 70mph thinking what the hell?!?! I immediately drove over the bridge, safely turned around and drove back over to park. I stayed for quite some time, ate lunch there and pondered my surroundings. Its little things like this that make a road trip worthwhile.
