This 70's vision for urban living now appears glum and run-down, a symbol of a future that never was. It was a bit sad seeing it this way, actually.

Designed by metabolist architect Kurokawa Kisho and completed in 1972, this building of capsule residences consists of prefabricated apartment capsules fitted to two central service cores.
