This is one of the many buildings that partially stands. you can see the smokestack and steps to what whould have led you to a bustling grocery store.
Thistle Canyon is just ourside Spanish Fork Utah, on the connector of Highway 6 and Highway 89 where the town of Thistle back in 1983 had a mudslide that caused the town to slowly fill up with water, it was concidered one of the most expensive natural desasters of its time. They dug out a way for the water to escape but it had already done the damage, all that remains are rubble scattered the land and rooftops on hillsides. is a great place for the antique- ghosttown feel photography.
