As seen from the deck of Goulding's Lodge in Monument Valley.

About this place:

Goulding's was the original trading post set up to trade with the local Navajo Harry Goulding and his wife "Mike" introduced the film maker John Ford to Monument Valley, which eventually helped make the area so iconic. Now the lodge and adjacent campground is an excellent basecamp for exploring the area.
