Mulholland drive has a reputation as a great road to drive, but it's also a great place to see the LA skyline on one side and the San Fernando Valley from the other.

About this place:

The downtown area of Los Angeles, is one of the weirdest, desolate, sad and cold downtowns in the world. LA is a great city, but if you get caught downtown after sunset, the best thing to do is leave. Although I have heard that it is about to undergo some serious gentrification. There are already some chic bars and clubs popping up.

Some people had "urban angst" - not knowing how to deal with downtowns. During the day, LA is a typical busy city. After dark, the markets and financial district shut down and the restaurants and clubs open. Head to Little Tokyo for the best cheap food around. Second Thursdays, the galleries have evening hours. Try the new restaruants getting ready to move into the gentrified buildings.

    It's cool!
