   John Davis emerges from the waters of Aquatic Park after a swim with his friend Bob. The water is a balmy 56 degrees at this time of the year, but John swims year-round, even when the temperature dips into the 40s.
   In the background you can see the historic three-master Balclutha and the steamwheelboat "Appleton Hall"
