Afternoon at the old Acre west coast. Fishermen with their fishing rods are standing patiently on the sea shelf to catch the Ramadan evening meal.

Fishing is the total tranquilizer and if you don't care for the sun and the heat you won't feel that your day has passed.
On the reef of Old Acre, beyond the heavy walls stand the fishermen of Acre for their daily catch.

One of the oldest cities on the east Mediterranean Sea with archeology remnants from the Hellenist period, the Crusades, Ottoman and more. A visit in the city is like a tour in a time tunnel.

A whale statue rests on the breakwater of the Acre marine. A hole in his belly gave me an interesting shooting angle towards the clock tower at Khan Al-Omdan.

Bat Galim is a peaceful neighborhood resting on the foot of Mount Carmel west slopes on the Mediterranean shore. The place attracts elder people, fishermen, sportsmen and surfers.
