I first heard "Joshua tree" in 1987 when local band U2 released their classic album. Twenty years later, I visit the Joshua Tree National Park.
Want to get away from it all? Joshua Tree National Park has many isolated areas that give a sense of being in another world.

Of course, no visit to Joshua Tree National Park would be complete without taking the time to spend some time admiring the namesake of the park. The landscape and unique vegitation makes you truly feel as though you are visiting another world.

Skull Rock, found in Joshua Tree National Park near 29 Palms, California is an impressive stop for those that venture into the park. We had ventured to Zion just two weeks prior to taking this shot. That day the park was teaming with people and picnic tables were at a premium.
