Asheville was crowded, but not over-crowded. It still afforded people enough green space and quiet that you could actually sit down and think.
Emerald Village mine is home to the North Carolina Mining Museum and Bon Ami mine. Not far off the Blue Ridge Parkway in Little Switzerland, NC it is a wonderful stop for a day of history and trying your hand at mining.
There were many homeless, all of which seemed to be musically gifted as just about all of them had a guitar. I like this shot as it shows just how opposite people can be.

The North Hollywood Metro Station is located at the intersection of Lankershim and Chandler Blvd.'s in North Hollywood. I found the architecture, shapes, movement and angles to be particularly fascinating.
