Just outside Lake Crescent in Olympic National Park in Washington state is the 90 foot Marymere Falls. The path to Marymere runs through an old growth lowland forest offering massive cedar trees and spectacular 100+ year old fir trees that tower some 200 feet above the ground.
Lake Crescent Lodge in Olympic National Park was built in 1916. The lodge was originally called "Singers Tavern." In addition to the lodge, there are classic motel and cottage lodging facilities.
