  1. Dulce de Leche

On the side of the road in the Cibao region of the Dominican Republic, one can purchase home-made dulce de leche sold in rolls, wrapped in banana leaves. This sweet treat is enhanced with vanilla, coconut, and orange, among other delightful flavors.

    Bach Café. Auckland International Airport.

  3. Shipwreck Grill - Facing Out

Fine dining at the Jersey Shore to be found at the Shipwreck Grill in Brielle, New Jersey. Don't miss the desserts...

  4. Shipwreck Grill

The Shipwreck Grill offers patrons fine dining off of Barnegat Bay. Just off of Route 35 in Brielle, New Jersey, the menu offers an incredible array of seafood specialities (but don't worry, there are specials for the land lubbers among us...).

  5. Bleeding Heart Organic Bakery

    I love crafty punks.

  6. Bleeding Heart exterior

A local friend and I were driving down Belmont to get lunch, when we passed this place. "What's THAT?" I asked enthusiastically.

  7. Velvet Revolver cake

I feel kind of stupid because I didn't know there was a band called Velvet Revolver, so I just thought, cool, gun cake. Sheesh.

Bleeding Heart's baked goods are all organic, sometimes vegan, always tasty. The red coloring of the cake in the middle, the label says, comes from red currants and beet juice.

  8. Charity Cakes

I should've asked what was going on here. I was a little surprised, to be honest.

  9. Bleeding Heart neon

I'm getting the impression that the place before Bleeding Heart moved in was also a bakery, and they just built extra signage on top of the old. Reuse, recycle.
