Globalization

Unbelievable!

After spending a fantastic day visiting the Great Pyramids of Giza (Cairo, Egypt), all the Pharonic history, the sand & sun, camel rides and souvenirs, the first thing you see when you leave is a KFC!

I thought it was typical on this age of 'globalization' and snapped this shot showing the reflection of the pyramid on KFC's store front glass.
Sphinx at Alexandria

No not the one in Cairo - this Sphinx is much smaller and in Alexandria on Egypt's Mediterranean coast. Being smaller you can get much closer to it and touch it etc

The most serene place i have ever visited on this planet so far...
