  1. Göteborg, Sweden

I saw this scene wandering through the backstreets of Göteborg (pronouned yeh-teh-bor-i) a lovely city in southern Sweden. I like the simplicity of it, which is very Swedish!

  2. Holocaust memorial, Berlin

The deeper you walk into the huge stone blocks of this memorial the quieter it becomes. I lost my partner and for a short while felt frightened and alone.

  3. Amsterdam

This was taken along one of Amsterdam's canals on my second visit to the city. The first time I went I was so overwhelmed by its beauty that I didn't notice the smaller things, but this time it was the details that really captured me.

  4. Lost and Found

Met this Japanese hitchhiker during a gathering of fellow hitchhikers in Paris. Masaru had hitched from Japan to Europe and can be found at any random petrol-station in Europe at the moment.

  5. Adriatic Sea

Photo taken as we walked the surrounding walls of the beautiful town of Dubrovnik, Croatia.

  7. Bridge of the Sea

Valencia's oldest bridge. It was used for fishermen to go to the shore.

  8. Dusk on the canals, Amsterdam

It didn't last long, but for a little while the sky was covered all over in a pink glow, turning the water pink and casting a soft light on the surrounding streets.

  9. Rooftop, Casa Milà

This curvaceous sculpture is part of the building commonly known as La Pedrera, one of Antoni Gaudi's architectural legacies in Barcelona.

  10. Sacre Coeur

Getting to Sacre-Coeur is an adventure. The neighborhood of Montmartre is very exciting and sometimes a bit sketchy.
