  1. Just Look for the Sign!

    Hot Dog Johnny's, along Route 46 in Buttzville (heh heh!), New Jersey.

    Route 46 was a major east-west throughfare before Interstate 80 was built, and Hot Dog Johnny's, which opened in 1944, is a pristine reminder of what roadside architecture and cuisine were like back in the day.

  2. Maya Beach, Belize

    Maya Beach is located in the center of the Placencia Peninsula in Belize. The Peninsula is sixteen miles long, with the Caribbean Sea on one side, and a lagoon on the other.

  3. Matranka Hot Springs

    I don't make it completely clean to the hot springs. Everywhere you look there are bat dumpings and the smell is overwhelming.

  4. San Francisco's Fort Funston at Sunset

    Fort Funston is a great spot to do some people watching, bird watching and get your dog fix. On occasion, it's possible to spot marine life as well -- schools of dolphins, whales, and seals have been known to make appearances.

    That day I had to go to Santiago, NL to do some errands and everytime I go to pay the water bill that cute dog comes to me says hi (obviously he pees my car's wheel) and sits in the same door step. Totally a town dog..
