  1. Taxco Flowers

    Purple flowers crawl up the white wall of a house in Taxco, Mexico.

    During a walk through a market in Zihuatanejo, I stumbled across a bin full of garlic cloves with four bananas on top of it. I thought it was an odd, but striking combination!

    The driver of one of the many green Volkswagen Beetle taxis that line Mexico City’s streets waits in traffic outside of the city’s main post office. With more than 100 thousand registered taxis in Mexico City, it is never difficult to find transportation in the area.

  10. Dangerous Crossings

    Crossing the street in Mexico City is no walk in the park. Here a young woman dodges one of the many green Volkswagen Beetle taxis that race around the city streets with little regard for pedestrians.
