    While visiting a small village outside of Luang Prabang, Laos I had the opportunity to photograph a newborn only 5 days old. Her mother was still recovering from the birth and following the typical tribal post-pregnancy rituals such as drinking a root based soup and burning a special wood on the fire.

    I couldn't resist snapping a shot of these baby goats in Bodh Gaya, India, one of the holiest places on the planet. These guys were unusually silent, seeming to bask in the afternoon sunlight without a care in the world.
