  1. The Great Auditorium

    Since 1894, The Great Auditorium has been the heart and soul of Ocean Grove on the Jersey Shore. Inside, it is said to be almost the size of a football field.

    This restaurant, previously a General Store, located in the charming Old Elk Grove, is also a brewery of micro beers. The decor was charming and displayed several large, working copper beer making containers.

    When we got there around 6:00, a live band was setting up.

    Cape Kiwanda is located just outside Pacific City and is the southern most cape in the three capes scenic route. It is a popular location for surfers, wakeboarders, and beachcombers.

    Cadìz is a special place, a little gem you will love.

    But the sight of the Ocean... that left me speechless.

    No matter how many waterfalls you've seen before this one is a gem. Flowing year-round onto deserted pristine California sands, it's one of the most picturesque spots around Big Sur.

    Come for the view of the falls at Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park, then try the hiking trails among the giant redwood trees across the road.
