While Dead Horse Point State Park is unspoken of in the rest of the world, locals frequently flock to the point to see views that rival the Grand Canyon high above the Colorado River as it winds its way into Canyonlands National Park.

A 17 mile dirt road winds its way beginning at the southern entrance along Highway 163 and ending at its western entrance along Highway 261.
